Every Saturday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm is the Maui Swap Meet. Cost of admittance is only .50 cents and children 12 and under are free. The Maui Swap Meet is held each week at the Maui Community College.
There are so many options to choose from when visiting the swap meet. Some of the products available for purchase include jewelry, clothing, fresh flowers, and gifts and crafts. Food is also available for purchase including cookies, jam, and shaved ice.
The Maui Swap Meet is the biggest open market on Maui! A great place to spend a Saturday with family and friends!
Wailuku Town’s First Friday is taking place this Friday September 2nd from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Streets will close at 5:30 pm. This free festival offers live music on two stages, food vendors, fashion, and a beer garden. Sunday September 4th at the Castle Theater starting at 7:30, Pink Martini Orchestra featuring China Forbes will be performing. Classical, jazz, and pop musical inspiration styles will be enjoyed! Friday January 15th The Soul Kitchen Maui Big Band will be playing at Mulligans On The Blue in Wailea. If you want good seats, dinner reservations are recommended. On Saturday January 12th from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm University of Hawaii-Maui College Parking Lot will be hosting the weekly Swap Meet! Over 200 vendors will be selling everything from fresh produce, jewelry, apparel, and more! Entrance is only $0.50 and children 12 and under are free! Sunday January 13th come support the Pacific Whale Foundation by helping clean up weeds at Haleakala National Park from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm. Transportation is provided for those who volunteer. Start your weekend off with the Lanai Fifth Friday this Friday July 31st! This town party only happens four times a year. The event will take place at Dole Park from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There will be lots of food and drinks plus live music. Expeditions Ferry will be having a special late night ferry that will leave Lanai at 9:30. Various travel packages available for your needs. This Sunday August 2nd the 3rd annual Chili Appreciation Society International Hawaii State Chili Championship Cookoff will be happening from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Entry for this event is free, however, if you wish to vote for People’s Choice you may purchase a $5.00 chili tasting kit. The cook off will take place at Ulupalakua Ranch.
