Wailuku Town Friday Party

Tomorrow, Friday February 1st, is the Wailuku First Friday party from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This event takes place along Market Street. Street closure starts at 5:30 pm. Free parking is available at the Maui Medical Center parking lot.

Live musical entertainment provided by Kuala, Luna Overdrive, Gene Argel, Johnny Z, Mark Johnson Live Funk and Jazz, The Goods with DJ Boomshot, DJ Carone, and Jay P. Magical act The Magic of Kamishibai will have two free showings at Mapa Warehouse on Main Street.

Local restaurants include Gianotto’s Pizza, 808 On Main, Saigon Cafe, Kings BBQ plus many more! Enjoy craft booths from local artisans! This is a great free family event that also supports the community!

Wailuku 1st Friday January 4th

Happening this Friday January 4th, its 1st Friday in Wailuku on Market Street! Street closures will begin at 5:30, with the event running from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Live entertainment provided by Leo Mana and Nevah Too Late. Handmade crafts from local artisans will be showcased. Food from restaurants including Gianotto’s Pizza, 808 on Main, Asian Star, King’s BBQ and many others to choose from!

Free parking available at the Maui Medical Group lot. This is a free family friendly event and a great way to support the local community!

Your Weekend Events!

September 1st, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, kick off your weekend with Wailuku First Friday. Market Street will be closed to vehicle traffic starting at 5:30 pm. Food will be available from some of Wailuku favorite eateries including Gianotto’s Pizza, 808 On Main, Uptown Chevron and many others! Come and enjoy cooking demonstrations, art gallery opening, live music, and many other fun activities! This is a free family friendly event. Taking place from Saturday, September 2nd through Monday, September 4th the Potters for Life fundraiser to benefit the Pacific Cancer Foundation will take place at Nalu’s in Kihei. Nalu’s is also a sponsor for this event.  All pottery for the fundraiser is made local on Maui. On Sunday, September 3rd enjoy the Champagne Brunch at the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel. Brunch will be served from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and features live entertainment. Food items include waffles, crab legs, pastries, omelets, a carving station, and Hawaiian specialties.  Come enjoy the award-winning brunch that is a favorite of locals and visitors alike! Cinco De Mayo Celebration

Happy Cinco De Mayo! Come celebrate with Maui First Fridays tonight in Wailuku.  Street closure along market street will begin at 5:30 pm.  This is a free family event!

Besides crafts and delicious food, live entertainment including performances by Tflatz, Nevah Too Late, Leylani, and Dane, Kana, and Lane Trio.  Other features include Classic Cars, art and science for keiki, Get Up & Dance!, just to name a few.

Good eats provided by a number of local Wailuku favorites including Uptown Chevron, Gianotto’s Pizza, 808 on Main, and many others!

This Friday January 6th is the first Friday of the New Year in Wailuku Town.  #1 recording artist Josh Tatofi will be debuting his new album!  This free event runs from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Street closure begins at 5:30 pm.  Free parking is available at the Maui Medical Group lot.  Please bring any shoe donations you may have.  “If The Shoe Fits” shoe drive will be collecting donations for Big Brothers, Big Sisters.  Your support is greatly appreciated!  Information for this event available via the Maui Fridays website.

Come by the Maui Humane Society garage sale on Saturday January 7th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  Enjoy great deals on pet supplies and animal related products. Purchase a bag for $5.00 and fill it with as many supplies as possible!  Other items will be priced individually.  All proceeds from this event will benefit the Maui Human Society.  Visit their website for more information on this event and other events here.

Also on Saturday, Las Vegas favorite Rita Rudner will be performing at the McCoy Studio Theater at 7:30 pm.  Her shows have sold over 1.5 million tickets in the past 14 years.  Her show is the longest running solo comedy in the history of Las Vegas.
