Kihei Friday Town Party

This Friday, February 22nd, Kihei will be hosting the Maui Friday town party at the Azeka Shopping Center Mauka. This Friday’s town party will be celebrating the Maui Whale Festival. The town party is from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Free entertainment will include Anthea, Kimie Miner, and Paula Fuga plus many others! Lots of activities for keiki! DJ Zeke, free face painting and balloon twisting, spider jump, plus hula hooping and bubbles! Food booths and food trucks including Smoke N Spice, Jini’s Curry, Three’s Bar & Grill, Only Ono BBQ, Ohana Burger, plus so much more! Over 45 retail vendors from the community will be on hand for those wanting to do some shopping.

Free parking available at Azeka Makai, Kihei Plaza and St. Theresa Church. This is a free family friendly event that also supports the local community.

Friday’s Town Party

This Friday the 13th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Lahaina 2nd Friday will be taking place on Front Street. 5 blocks will be participating!

Campbell Park will have live music. Scheduled to perform from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm will be Maui Jim and from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm Micah Ganiron will take the stage. Surfside Pizza will be celebrating their Grand Opening with live music and of course pizza!

Coming Up, Your Weekend Events!

Friday Town Party this Friday September 29th from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm in Lanai. Roundtrip ferry rides between Lahaina Harbor and Manele Harbor will be available. Live music, food, drinks, prizes and more! There is expected to be over 30 vendors, and food booths will be set up along Dole Park. The Maui Fridays website has information for Lanai Fifth Friday.

Happening now through September 30th, the Chinese Moon Festival is taking place along Front Street.  This week long event is free! A box of 4 moon cakes is $25.00. Flavors include red bean, white lotus, taro, and 5 nuts with egg yolk. Cultural activities like calligraphy and knot tying along with tea and traditional music that the whole family can enjoy. Also on Saturday September 30th, Damian Marley & J Boog will be performing at the A&B Amphitheater with gates opening at 5:00 pm. Show is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm. Food will be available for purchase as well as drinks including beer and wine. General pricing and VIP ticket pricing available. Parking will be available in the MACC lot and the UHMC lot. Events This Weekend!

This Friday September 22nd, come eat, play, shop, and dance at the Kihei Town Party and celebrate the first day of fall. This free event will take place from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Azeka Mauka. Over 20 food trucks and food booths, and over 50 arts and crafts vendors will be bringing fun for the entire family! The Maui Fridays website has all the information on this event.

The Maui Okinawan Festival will be taking place this Saturday, September 23rd at the Maui Mall in Kahului from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This is a free community event. Live Okinawan music, Okinawan food, dancing, a craft fair, and games for keiki. Lots of cultural displays and professional photo sessions on hand. More information available here.

Also taking place on Saturday, September 23rd the 35th Annual Kula Festival! This event will take place from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Free parking available across the street at Keokea Park. Festival admission is $1 per person or a can of food which will be donated to the Maui Food Bank. Food, games, and a farmers market will be happening throughout the day. Seabury Hall Craft Faire And Other Weekend Events!

Friday night kicks off the weekend with Lahaina’s Town Party from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  The evening will get started with Maui Jam from 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm. Winners from the 4th annual Short Story Writing Contest will be announced at 6:50 pm. The Maui Fridays website has information for this event.

The 44th Annual Seabury Hall Craft Faire will be taking place this Saturday May 14th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  All proceeds from the faire benefit the Financial Aid program. More then 100 local artists will be featured.  Also on hand, activities for kids, silent auction, food, and live entertainment.  Admission is $5.00 children 12 and under are free. There are lots of brunch options available to help celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday.  One choice is the Champagne Brunch offered at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel.  This Maui favorite will take place from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Tiki Terrace restaurant.  Enjoy traditional brunch items as well as seafood, specialty Hawaiian fare, fruits, dessert, and champagne.  Children 5 and under eat free with paying adult.  More information including reservations available here.
