Steven Tyler Tonight at Maui Arts & Cultural Center

Steven Tyler will be performing tonight, Thursday December 27th at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center starting at 7:00 pm. Gates are scheduled to open at 5:30 pm.

The award-winning singer and songwriter will be performing with his touring band, The Loving Mary Band. As both a solo artist and member of the legendary rock band Aerosmith, Tyler has sold over 150 million records and won multiple awards including Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, and Billboard Music Awards.

Tribute To Slack Key Legend Sonny Chillingworth

Saturday, January 27th starting at 7:30 pm at the McCoy Studio Theater, friends will gather to pay tribute to slack key legend Sonny Chillingworth. Sonny expanded his musical talents to not only slack key but into blues, country, and Latin music.

Made In Maui

The largest products show on Maui, Made in Maui, will be having its 4th Annual Festival this weekend! Starting this Friday November 3rd from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm through Saturday November 4th from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center in Kahului. Free shuttle and free event parking available!

Each day will bring a full day of shopping plus prizes, fashion shows, product demonstrations and food truck vendors.  Locally made products including food, produce, arts, crafts, furniture and many other items will be available for purchase. Children 12 and under admittance is free!

Coming Up, Your Weekend Events!

Friday Town Party this Friday September 29th from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm in Lanai. Roundtrip ferry rides between Lahaina Harbor and Manele Harbor will be available. Live music, food, drinks, prizes and more! There is expected to be over 30 vendors, and food booths will be set up along Dole Park. The Maui Fridays website has information for Lanai Fifth Friday.

Happening now through September 30th, the Chinese Moon Festival is taking place along Front Street.  This week long event is free! A box of 4 moon cakes is $25.00. Flavors include red bean, white lotus, taro, and 5 nuts with egg yolk. Cultural activities like calligraphy and knot tying along with tea and traditional music that the whole family can enjoy. Also on Saturday September 30th, Damian Marley & J Boog will be performing at the A&B Amphitheater with gates opening at 5:00 pm. Show is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm. Food will be available for purchase as well as drinks including beer and wine. General pricing and VIP ticket pricing available. Parking will be available in the MACC lot and the UHMC lot. This Weekends Events!

On Friday January 8th The Rough Riders music event will be taking place at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm.  Come enjoy the talents of Henry Kapono, John Cruz, and Brother Noland.  These award winning artists blend together and create a magical musical style.  Ticket prices vary.  Preshow dining options also available.  More information regarding this event available here.

On Both Friday January 8th and Saturday January 9th, the 4th Annual Willie K BBQ Blues Festival will be happening at the King Kamehameha Golf Club.  Doors open at 5:30 pm with the show starting at 6:30 pm.  Two nights of music with different ticket packages available for purchase.  Visit the Willie K Blues Fest website for information as well as performance details.

On Sunday January 10th join in the fight against Alzheimer’s with the Alzheimer’s Breakthrough Ride biking event.  Cyclists will check in at 6:45 am with the ride beginning at 7:30 am.  Start and finish will all be at Sugar Beach House.  To register for this event you can visit the Alzheimer’s Association page.  Funds raised will help raise awareness for Alzheimer’s.
