This Friday September 22nd, come eat, play, shop, and dance at the Kihei Town Party and celebrate the first day of fall. This free event will take place from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Azeka Mauka. Over 20 food trucks and food booths, and over 50 arts and crafts vendors will be bringing fun for the entire family! The Maui Fridays website has all the information on this event.
The Maui Okinawan Festival will be taking place this Saturday, September 23rd at the Maui Mall in Kahului from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This is a free community event. Live Okinawan music, Okinawan food, dancing, a craft fair, and games for keiki. Lots of cultural displays and professional photo sessions on hand. More information available here.
Also taking place on Saturday, September 23rd the 35th Annual Kula Festival! This event will take place from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Free parking available across the street at Keokea Park. Festival admission is $1 per person or a can of food which will be donated to the Maui Food Bank. Food, games, and a farmers market will be happening throughout the day.
