Great News!  Beginning November 20th, Hawaiian Airlines will be offering flights from San Francisco directly to Maui!  The airline will start with 4 flights per week and move to daily flights starting December 17th.  This will add more than 210,000 seats to the San Francisco and Maui travel markets.

Executive VP and Chief Commercial Officer Peter Ingram says these new flights offer another travel option for Hawaii residents to travel to the Bay Area, and for those in Northern California another reason to visit Hawaii!  You can view the article via CBS local news here.

July Stats 2014

The current market has remained stable.  Well priced properties are receiving multiple offers.  Sellers are getting their properties appraised prior to listing to prevent escrow fallout should any unforeseen problems arise.

For sellers to compete in a competitive market,  pricing properties realistically and having creative terms (seller second loan, sale with lease back, etc.), may give a property an edge in the selling market.

Many buyers are still taking advantage of low interest rates.  Getting pre-appoved can help a buyer feel more at ease during the home buying process.  First-time homebuyers may want to attend a home buying workshop to help give them the confidence they need before making a purchase.

The Hansen Ohana strives to keep you up to date with the latest in real estate news and events.  You can view more regarding July stats via Realtors Association of Maui here.

Incredible Kuau Bayview Opportunity!!! Great location close to the all Paia amenities, as well as beaches and parks! This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom updated home is not a typical cookie cutter floor plan. It is bright and open, with beautiful arched window panes that allow natural light to flow through and has 9 ft ceilings in the downstairs great room that enhance the light and airy feel.

Ocean and mountain views can be enjoyed from the master bedroom, while indoor/outdoor living is a breeze with multiple lanais and a completely fenced yard. Fantastic location, lovely updates and a great price. The larger square footage of this home makes it a great value! Move-in ready! Fabulous opportunity calling…  34 N Laelua Pl.
