Seth Grabel from the hit television show America’s Got Talent will be performing this Saturday July 9th at the Maui Theatre in Lahaina at 7:00 pm.  Seth is a highly sought after performer who has appeared on such major networks as ABC, Extra, and Bravo.  To purchase tickets visit the Maui Theatre website here.

On Sunday at the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center, Maui Made Sundays will take place from 9:15 am to 5:00 pm.  Come enjoy this free event that includes live music, Polynesian entertainment, and locally made food and products.  The Queen Ka’ahumanu Center website has more information.

Happy 4th Of July!

Happening This Weekend….

This Friday June 24th is Art Night in Lahaina Town.  Special gallery shows, artists in action, and refreshments all free of charge.  The Lahaina Visitors Center has a map of participating galleries.  This is a recurring event that takes place each week on Friday!  Come enjoy from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

The Reggae Summit Hawaii tour will be taking place at The Maui Tropical Plantation on Saturday June 25th.  Doors open at 4:00 pm. Keep the music vibe going on Sunday at the 25th annual Ki Hoalu Guitar Festival.  Gates will open at 12:30 pm at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.  Be prepared to hear some of the best slap key guitar players in all of Hawaii!  This is a family friendly event.  Bring your own chairs and blanket and enjoy the afternoon on the lawn!  For information on the confirmed line up, as well as the menu of available food items for purchase, visit the Maui Arts website here.

Maui Film Festival Happening Now!

It’s that time of year once again!  The Maui Film Festival is taking place now and running through June 19th.  The Celestial Cinema located at the Wailea Gold & Emerald Golf Course will be screening films on a 50 foot screen all solar-powered.  Other screenings will be taking place at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center Castle Theater, plus special parties and events will be going on at other locations. Some of the Honorees and Luminaries expected at this years festival include Colin Farrell, Emma Roberts, Laura Dern, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Clint Eastwood just to name a few.

The Maui Film Festival is also a culinary event.  The event kicked off at the Molokini Gardens with the Taste Of Summer Party.  Tomorrow’s event is the Taste of Chocolate at the Four Seasons Resort from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm.  View the Taste of Chocolate menu here.  Saturdays event is the Taste of Wailea at the Wailea Gold & Emerald golf course.  View the menu for Saturday here.

Coming Up This Weekend!

Coming up this weekend the Construction Industry of Maui’s Home Show.  The CIM Home Show will be taking place Friday June 10th, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday June 11th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  This event will take place at the War Memorial Gymnasium.  This is a great opportunity to talk to professionals about your current or upcoming home project, learn about new product, or become more energy-efficient.  Learn more about the CIM Home Show here.

Starting Thursday June 9th and continuing through Sunday June 12th, the 35th Annual Kapalua Wine and Food Festival!  This is the longest running food and wine event in the United States.  The invitation only and 4-day pass holder Welcome Reception starts on Thursday at 5:00 pm on the lower lawn of the Plantation House Restaurant.  Friday starts the Festival Golf Tournament at 7:00 am on The Bay Course Kapalua (tickets for the golf tournament sold separately).  Come enjoy the best in food, wine, and everything Hawaiian!  The Kapalua Wine And Food Festival page has all the information on ticket purchase and schedule of events!
