Makawao Third Friday is happening this Friday October 21st from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The theme for this Friday’s event is Rocktober. Music featuring local band Rosalind Monica’s Electric Church will be performing on the main state by Rodeo General Store. Keiki Zone will be located at the Komoda’s parking lot and will feature faceprinting, arts & crafts, a jumper, and shaved ice! This is a free event. On Saturday October 22nd starting at 4:00 pm Maui Roller Girls present Monster Smash! This event will take place in the War Memorial Gymnasium. Teams from Hawaii will be competing against each other as well as special guest Crossroads City Derby all the way from New Mexico! A costume contest will take place at approximately 6:30 pm. Haku Baldwin Center is having its Fall Harvest Festival on Sunday October 23rd from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. This festival supports programs for children with special needs. Come enjoy pony rides, games, crafts, face painting, a silent auction, and a bake sale! Everyone welcome to attend in costume. Meet the animals used in the therapy program. Thursday May 19th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm the Monk Seal Count will be taking place at the Humpback Whale Marine Sanctuary. Location is at 726 South Kihei Rd. Maui. No experience is necessary, however you must attend a pre-count meeting to learn what you will need to know. Your help and support are greatly appreciated.

From 9:30 am to 2:00 pm this Sunday May 22nd, enjoy brunch at the King Kamehameha Golf Club with Uncle Wille K & Friends. Some Hawaiian favorites will be available at the buffet including Kalua Pork Hash, Hawaiian sweet bread French Toast, loco moco station, and a Bloody Mary station crafted by Pau Vodka. Kieki welcome!
