So far this year, an estimated 200,000 visitors have come to Maui each month. On average we have welcomed 23,000 visitors daily. The revenue generated from tourism has supported an additional 3,000 jobs. During the first four months of 2013, visitor spending was an estimated $1.4 billion dollars. Travlers from international countries has increased helping with the explosion. Tourist from New Zealand, China, and Australia have shown a double digit increase. Wailea Restaurant Week
Have your appetite and taste buds ready! Restaurant Week Wailea starts Sunday May 26th through Saturday June 1st. 19 resort restaurants are participating in the event. Each restaurant that participates makes a contribution to the Maui Food Bank. Some of the menus offered have fixed prices for delicious three course meals. April Stats Are In
Sales in April continue to be strong. 77 Residential homes were sold. Condos had a significant jump in sales up 41% with 143 units sold. Inventory continues to be low attracting multiple offers from buyers especially on well priced property. Very low interest rates still prevail.
