Beach Boys At Maui Arts & Cultural Center

The Beach Boys will be performing Friday night, April 12th, at the A&B Amphitheater. Show is starting at 7:30 pm with gates opening at 6:00 pm.

The Beach Boys have sold millions of albums and produced numerous hits since their debut over 50 years ago. They have influenced countless artists throughout the years with their musical style. Current band members are Mike Love, Bruce Johnston, Jeffrey Foskett, Tim Bonhomme, John Cowsill, Keith Hubacher, Christian Love, and Scott Totten.

In 2013 they released the Sounds of Summer that has since gone triple platinum and still climbing! The interest in the band and their music has received a new resurgence. Those interested in purchasing tickets should check the Maui Arts & Cultural Center for availability.

Steven Tyler Tonight at Maui Arts & Cultural Center

Steven Tyler will be performing tonight, Thursday December 27th at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center starting at 7:00 pm. Gates are scheduled to open at 5:30 pm.

The award-winning singer and songwriter will be performing with his touring band, The Loving Mary Band. As both a solo artist and member of the legendary rock band Aerosmith, Tyler has sold over 150 million records and won multiple awards including Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, and Billboard Music Awards.

Events This Weekend

On Friday, March 24th, at the A & B Amphitheater Bonnie Raitt will be performing.  Gates will open at 5:00 pm with the show scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm.  Her latest album Dig In Deep is her 20th  successful album.  Named by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the greatest singers of all time, Raitt has 10 Grammy awards to help prove it!  Special guests California Honeydrops will be opening the show.  Ticket pricing varies. From 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday, March 25th, Come support the language immersion preschool in Wailuku at the Ho’omau 2017.  This cultural music event will benefit Punana Leo o Maui. Other immersion programs throughout the island will also benefit. Some of the best musicians in Hawaii will be performing. Live auction, food, crafts, children activities and various demonstrations will be taking place throughout the day. The Maui Nui Botanical Gardens website has more information on this event.

Also on Saturday between 7:00 am and 1:00 pm the Hale Makua Kahului Car Wash Fundraiser will be taking place at 472 Maulana St. Kahului.  Proceeds benefit the 2017 Visitor Industry Charity Walk.  $10.00 per vehicle for a car wash. Activities On Maui This Weekend

This weekend the MayJah RayJay music festival will be happening.  This two-day concert event features some island reggae music from artists such as Tarrus Riley, Sons of Zion, Common Kings, Spawnbreezie, just to name a few.  Pricing varies depending on ticket option.  Event will be held at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.  Concert starts at 6:00 pm, with doors opening at 5:00 pm.  For More information, visit the Majay Rayjah event site here.

Saturday the Upcountry Farmers Market will be from 7:00 am to 11:00 am at the Kulamalu Town Center.  Yummy locally grown foods for purchase including organic produce, coconuts, fresh fish, and raw and vegan foods.  The Upcounty Farmers Market has over 40 local farmers supplying food and produce.  To learn more about what farmers participate, and news about the Farmers Market, you can visit the Upcountry Farmers Market page.

Saturday Night at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort at Pulehu, is having the “Rum Scrum Cocktail Contest”.  This contest benefits the Maui Culinary Academy.  The winner of the contest will have their cocktail featured on the Westin Kaanapali’s menu.  There are 4 finalists in the running.  The winner will be announced on Saturday night.  General admission will begin at 6:00 pm.  More information including purchasing tickets available here.
