Tribute To Slack Key Legend Sonny Chillingworth

Saturday, January 27th starting at 7:30 pm at the McCoy Studio Theater, friends will gather to pay tribute to slack key legend Sonny Chillingworth. Sonny expanded his musical talents to not only slack key but into blues, country, and Latin music.

Music performances by Makea, Lono Kaumeheiwa, Lopaka Colon, and Yoza. These performances will take bring back many memories of Sonny’s musical style. To find out more about this event, and to purchase tickets, visit Maui Arts and Cultural Center website here.

Maui Fresh Farmers Market

Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm at the Queen Kaahumanu Center come enjoy Maui Fresh Farmers Market! Enjoy locally grown produce, vegetables, berries and baked goods! Food booths, fresh flowers and local fish will also be available. The Queen Kaahumanu Center website has information on this event as well as other upcoming events!

Open House

Please join us for an open house of Maui Vista #1424 on Monday January 8th, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Physical address is 2191 S. Kihei Rd.

Terrific ocean view location across the street with quick access to Charlie Young and Kamaole Beach One. Also close to the popular Cove surfing beach. This nicely maintained two bedroom two bath condo (the upstairs bath has a shower) enjoys the vaulted ceilings the top floor offers. There is an elevator for convenience and of course also stairs. There are ocean views from the living room and lanai. The community offers three pools, six tennis courts, lots of BBQ’s and tons of parking. A/C unit, commercial grade carpet and refrigerator are within the past year. Also note that Building one has had the relining of the vertical waste water pipes completed while Bldg 2 & 3 will need to be completed 2018. Additionally the TV definition has been upgraded to a high-definition cable television service.

The Hansen Ohana Annual Toy Drive

Mahalo to all those who supported our annual charity event benefitting children supported by the Friends Of The Childrens Justice Center. The donations we received will give many children of Maui a holiday season that they would not have had otherwise. Additionally children are assisted with other special needs such as medical and dental throughout the year. We all have so much to give our Maui children in need and again this year through our friends, family and neighbors, we’ve helped make it happen. There’s still time to drop off gifts at our office at Wailea Town Center, 151 Wailea Ike Place, Unit A106 next to Matteos. Much love and gratitude to you all!
