Events This Weekend

Haliimaile Farmers Market this Friday February 26th from 1:00pm to 6:00 pm at the Haliimaile Town Center.  This is a free event.  Come enjoy food, beverages, crafts from local artisans.  Anyone interested in hosting a booth for their non-profit or community organization may do so free of charge!

Saturday night February 27th,  from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the Maui Theatre in Lahaina, the 808 Lip Sync Battle will be happening!  Celebrity judges will be on hand giving out cash and other prizes!  Groups up to 5 people or solo performers are welcome.  Entry fee applies.  General admission is $20.00.  For more information visit the Maui Theatre website.

On Sunday February 28th, Maui’s 14th Annual Art of Aloha in Wailea will be held at the Lahaina Galleries in Wailea at The Shops at Wailea.  Six world-renown artists will be showing collections at this event.  This event will run from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  Please RSVP to Sunday’s public viewing event. Coming Up This Weekend

On Friday November 6th from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm the Haliimaile Farmers Market will take place at the Haliimaile Town Center.  Local fresh fruits and vegetables along with arts and crafts are available for purchase.  Non-profit and community organizations are welcome at no charge to host a booth.  This event occurs every other Friday.

This Saturday November 7th from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm the 2nd annual Made In Maui Festival will take place.  This event features over 140 vendors of made in Hawaii products.  Everything from food and produce to jewelry and collectibles will be available.  Can’t wait for the main event on Saturday?  500 tickets available for a special preview shopping event on Friday November 6th from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  For more information including how to buy tickets to the Friday pre-shopping event, visit the Made In Maui County Festival webpage.

On Sunday November 8th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, the 4th annual Maui Special Rodeo will be held at Piiholo Ranch in Makawao.  The rodeo is dedicated to children with special needs.  The children will be able to ride horses, play games, face painting, and go on a scavenger hunt.  Thanks to support from the Maui community, children and their families participating are able to do so at no cost.  Contributions and volunteers are welcome!  The Piiholo Ranch website has more information on this event.

Events This Weekend!

This Friday September 18th the Haliimaile Farmers Market will be happening from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Haliimaile Town Center.  This free event features crafts and local produce from Maui farmers and artists.  Booth spaces are available for local non-profit organizations.

On Saturday the 19th,  the 33rd Annual Kula Festival at the St. Johns Episcopal Church in Kula from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Admission to this event is $1.  There will be live entertainment, ono food, games, auction, and a quilt show.  Children 5 years of age and up can purchase a $10 wristband for all day game playing! Also on Saturday the 19th, Maui Brewing Co. in Kihei will be hosting the Hope Fest Maui.  The Hope Fest Maui is raising money for the completion of Hope Lodge Hawaii.  Hope Fest will kick off the afternoon with musical acts.  Festival goers can participate in the local chef and food truck competition for “Best-In-Fest” culinary.  Buy Out Cancer auction items will be on hand for bidding as a fundraiser and to showcase local talented artists and designers.  Ticket prices vary.  Read more about the Hope Fest event here.
