Maui Film Festival starts today June 12th and runs through June 16th in Wailea at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Passes for the event are available starting at $44 dollars. So far this year, an estimated 200,000 visitors have come to Maui each month. On average we have welcomed 23,000 visitors daily. The revenue generated from tourism has supported an additional 3,000 jobs. During the first four months of 2013, visitor spending was an estimated $1.4 billion dollars. Travlers from international countries has increased helping with the explosion. Tourist from New Zealand, China, and Australia have shown a double digit increase. Wailea Restaurant Week
Have your appetite and taste buds ready! Restaurant Week Wailea starts Sunday May 26th through Saturday June 1st. 19 resort restaurants are participating in the event. Each restaurant that participates makes a contribution to the Maui Food Bank. Some of the menus offered have fixed prices for delicious three course meals. Hawaiian Airlines Ranks On Consumer Reports List
Congratulations to Hawaiian Airlines for being named into the Top 4 airlines by Consumer Reports. The report was based on customer satisfaction on multiple categories including, cabin cleanliness, ease of check in, comfort, and on-flight entertainment.
