Tonight is the expected night for the brightest supermoon of the season according to NASA. This moon will be 14% closer and 30% brighter then any other moon this year. The supermoon of tonight, August 10th, kicks off three days of heightened meteor shower activity.
Early pre-dawn mornings are ideal for viewing shower activity, known as Perseid, on August 11th, 12th, and 13th.
