Tonight is the expected night for the brightest supermoon of the season according to NASA.  This moon will be 14% closer and 30% brighter then any other moon this year.  The supermoon of tonight, August 10th, kicks off  three days of heightened meteor shower activity.

Early pre-dawn mornings are ideal for viewing shower activity, known as Perseid, on August 11th, 12th, and 13th.  If clouds are disrupting your view, you can actually listen to Perseid on spaceweatherradio.com.
