All Local Creators and Makers Are Invited!

The much awaited 12th Annual 2025 Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival, the pinnacle of island creativity, craftsmanship, and community, the Maui Chamber of Commerce is currently taking vendor applications.

This two-day event, which is scheduled for November 7–8 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, is your opportunity to interact with wholesale buyers and merchants, exhibit your locally produced goods to thousands of people, and significantly expand your clientele.

Don’t pass this up! The deadline for applications is June 2 at 4:30 p.m.

Community Action Plan

As it starts work on a new three-year Community Action Plan, Maui Economic Opportunity (MEO) is looking for community feedback to help identify the most urgent needs in Maui County.

In order to begin the process of creating the 2027–2030 plan, MEO has made a survey available here. The participation deadline is June 25.

Every year on May 1st, Hawaiʻi celebrates Lei Day, a celebration of the islands’ rich cultural heritage that is marked by the giving and wearing of floral leis, which stand for aloha, friendship, and love. A lively celebration of Hawaiian ancestry on all islands, it is marked by hula, music, and lei-making celebrations. Happy Lei Day!

The Maui Brewing Company in Kihei, Maui is hosting a POG Fest from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 605 Lipoa Parkway, Kihei, HI 96753.

The fourth annual POG Fest hosted by Maui Brewing Company is back and better than before! This vibrant celebration honors all things POG, including guava, orange, and passionfruit, with inventive drink concoctions, tropical fare, and a joyous ambiance that captures the islands’ joyful essence. Take enjoy a small-scale acoustic performance by local artist Akoni and Maui’s favorite Anuhea, accompanied by the sound of the ocean and island beat. Ono grinds (wonderful cuisine), local craft booths, and refreshing drinks are also available for purchase at the event. More than 40 local vendors will be selling fresh produce, island delights, handcrafted crafts, and more at this community-focused event. Families and anybody wishing to support small shops and take in Molokaʻi’s genuine charm would love this midday excursion.

Maui Marathon

To encourage wellness and support local businesses, the 55th Annual Maui Marathon will return to West Maui on April 27.
