All Of Hawaii Rooting For Suzuki

Kurt Suzuki, Maui Native and catcher for the Washington Nationals is playing on baseball’s biggest stage: the 2019 World Series! A very humble Suzuki is hoping to bring the title to not only Washington, but home to the islands. As a role model for so many children he hopes to show them that anything is possible!

Washington edged out the Astros last night with a score of 5-4. Suzuki helped contribute in the 5th when he was walked and singled in by Victor Robles. Game 2 is today at 2:00 pm HST.

Win or lose, Maui and the islands are so proud of Kurt’s accomplishments! We will be watching and cheering throughout the series!
