Starting this Friday November 13th and also Saturday November 14th from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Wo Hing Museum, Lahaina will be paying tribute to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen. Dr. Sun Yat-Sen is known as the The Father of Modern China. This free event will celebrate with martial arts demonstrations, traditional fan dancing, and lion dancing. Saturday November 14th the 9th Annual Hui No’eau Wailea Food & Wine Celebration will take place at the Hotel Wailea from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. This fundraising event supports the Hui’s community arts education. Ticket prices vary from $150.00 for a standard ticket to $275.00 for a VIP ticket. A portion of your ticket is tax deductible. 5th annual “Zip for the Trees” event at Skyline Eco-Adventures is this Sunday Noveber 15th from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. This event supports Maui Children’s charities as well as the reforestation on Skylines Haleakala. Cost is $40.00 and includes ziplining, musical entertainment, and food for purchase.
