Come celebrate the migration of the Pacific Humpback whales this weekend. The event is being held this Saturday and Sunday at Banyan Tree Park from 9 am to 5 pm. A great event for the entire family. There will be live music, crafts, and local artists. Don’t forget to bring your non-perishable food donations for the Maui Food Bank. After hitting a low in 2009, visitor spending on Maui has risen tremendously. In 2012 spending increased 18.8% to $3.6 billion. In just December alone, Maui visitors spent $357.8 million. New for 2014 Princsss Cruise line will be adding a stop in Maui to it’s route. The 680 passenger Pacific Princess will make the stop on it’s way from Tahiti.
