It has been a very busy nine months with the many ups and downs in our real estate market. There are still many questions on people’s minds about what will happen after the election? How our local and federal economies will fair? If the interest rates will continue to be as low as they are? Will there be more foreclosures? What we see at this time is a market that is heating up for a multitude of reasons. We have successfully closed over 45 transactions thus far in 2012 with another 10 currently in escrow/pending sale. In recent weeks the Fed Set Open-Ended Asset Purchases to Spur Growth; Extending Low Rates Into 2015! While our supply has dwindled and we have seen many properties go under contract, including many with multiple offers, there are still some values out there. Also it is important to note that the Canadian and Australian dollars continue to be strong compared to the US dollar. This generally suggests that our International buyers will continue to be a positive driving force in our real estate market.
