I just noticed this listing today. It’s not our listing, but I think this is the best deal in Kihei, Maui right now for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in a nice area. It’s in Piilani III subdivision.

Our listing in Waimahaihai subdivision is also a great deal with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It’s an older home with more square footage and a larger lot, with the possibility to add an attached ohana (cottage) later. It has two large living areas, with a very flexible floor plan. Central air, new roof shingles and it’s on a culdesac. It’s a very cute street.

We just launched our new vacation rentals section. We thought it would be convenient for our website visitors to be able to search for a vacation rentals directly from our website. We already have 29 vacation rentals in our database and it’s growing rapidly. We decided to make it free for vacation rental owner’s to put their rentals into our system. It is for Hawaii vacation rentals only. We are toying with the idea of allowing long term rental listings as well. Let us know what you think.

New Advanced Search Form
If you havn’t tried our new and improved Advanced Search Form, you may want to give it a try. You can now perform a single search with all of the criteria you want in a property at one time. For example, with the old search form, if you wanted to find home with “Ocean” views and homes with “Mountain/Ocean” views, you would have to perform two separate searches. Now you can select all of the criteria you want and then get all of the results at once. This form really goes into more detail than the “Maui MLS Quick Search” on our home page.

For those of you who missed the House Hunters, Maui episode, which aired on HGTV. I recorded it and now you can watch it here online. It featured Donna Hansen (my mother) as the real estate agent. You will need QuickTime 7 to view it, although your computer probably already has it installed.

Neighbor isle home sales are stabilizing 
Neighbor island home prices continued soaring last month, but industry experts say the market is nonetheless showing signs of stabilizing.
