The Shops at Wailea have added three new merchants to its collection of more than 70 boutiques, shops, restaurants and galleries.

Karamel Collection opened its doors in early December. The family-run boutique offers fashion that takes inspiration from the owner’s island lifestyle, but also includes seasonal on-trend collections, with most garments made in France, Italy and Brazil. This is the company’s third retail location.

Maui Clothing Company is slated to open its doors in January 2012. The store will offer family beachwear, alohawear and resortwear in an array of tropical styles and prints, as well as jewelry, handbags, hats and accessories.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will open its first store on Maui, and its 15th statewide, at The Shops at Wailea in January 2012. The family-run specialty coffee and tea retailer is owned by The Sullivan Family of Companies.

“We’re proud to be welcome these new members of our ohana and offer even more shopping and dining diversity to our community,” said Robert Dye, the general manager of The Shops of Wailea.
