If you are having problems viewing our webcam please read the following:
The streaming video is working just fine on our end. Sometimes automatic updates to your existing browser or new up-dates like Explorer 7.0 or Microsoft Vista are not compatible. We suggest that you download a second web-browser called Firefox. It works great as a browser, it is small and can be used with all websites. No, I don’t own stock in it. Click here to download http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
That should work well for you and also give you smoother, higher frame rates on the beach cam. Let us know if it works for you or you need additional assistance.

I really like your live webcam. I have DSL and can view it live for about 60 seconds. Then the picture freezes up. I use Firefox. Is there something I can do to keep the picture live?
Thanks,
Charles Steele
Hi Charles,
Yes, we do this on purpose, because otherwise, some people will leave the webcam displaying on their computer all day. Eventualy, the cam will slow down and then just stop. The 45 second limit keeps the webcam going, so all people can get a chance to see it.
Aloha,
daryl
I am an avid viewer of the webcam. Any idea as to how many hits you are getting a day on the webcam?
